My Internet Business, also known as MyInternetBusiness, was launched by Darren Gaudry, the creator of Passport to Wealth.
MyInternetBusiness offers a variety of products. There are vacation certificates, ebooks for various niches, software as well as a growing number of tangible products. These include the NetMillionaire Training System board game which is similar to an investment game by Robert Kiyosaki, and company apparel.
Four levels of membership are offered. The bronze level is priced at $495, Silver is priced at $995, Gold at $1995 and Platinum at $2995. The compensation plan is 2-tiered, creating outstanding leverage for those who work the business. There are no pass ups required to earn commissions, allowing My Internet Business members to be able to earn from day one.
Your My Internet Business site includes an about me page so you can add your picture and bio to your site. This allows you to start branding yourself rather than promoting a company or some guru, which does nothing for an individual’s sales.
You also receive a portfolio page where you can recommend marketing tools, ebooks, or even other business opportunities.
The Travel Club certificates are a great marketing tool to attract prospects, as well as for brick and mortar businesses to use to give away to clients or attract customers.
With four price points, it enables people from various financial capabilities to get started.
Adding tangible products like the NetMillionaire Training System Board game creates a distinct difference between this and other popular direct sales opportunities.
There are mp3 audios available from some of the top internet marketers to educate you on how they found success.
They have teamed up with a specific payment processor to avoid the various issues people have been having with some of the more popular payment processors available.
Members get paid from their first sale. They also receive generous bonus overrides for all sales their directly sponsored members make.
They have a marketing section that explains all of the successful marketing methods around today. They also offer coops, outsourcing, and many other items today’s successful internet entrepreneur needs to succeed.
They offer live calls both for training as well as for new member orientation.
A call center is available to close sales for you.

Choosing the Right Mentor
When first starting out on your quest for a successful internet business, it may seem very difficult. This does not have to be the case however. The easiest path to success will be achieved when finding the right mentor from the beginning.
Many people when first entering the work at home industry simply look for a company with a product that appeals to them, and signs up without doing the proper research, and thus lining themselves up for failure. People who make this mistake often find themselves soon being told to market by doing what is now considered “old-school” like cold calling people, begging their friends and family to join, and telling everyone within 3 feet of them about their business.
The best way to choose a mentor who will take you on the correct path is to join someone who markets the way you want to learn to market. For example, if you are fine with calling everyone you know, then go for the type of mentor who would suggest the tactics I listed in the previous paragraph. If you have a large ($5K plus) budget and want to spend your way to success, join a mentor who focuses mainly on items like magazine ads, postcards and pay per click advertising. If you are in the majority and want to keep advertising costs down while also not having to do the cold calling thing, you should find yourself a mentor who practices various web 2.0 strategies like video sharing (YouTube for example), social networking and blogging.
Finding the correct type of mentor is simple. First look in the places you think you will want to market. After you find a few potential mentors, google their names and see what else they have done. Then give them a call to ask any remaining questions you may have. Do they do any training? Are they readily available? If you get a voice mail, leave a message, but keep track of how long it takes for them to respond. If they’re not responding now, they won’t be when you need help putting together your marketing strategy!
Follow these instructions, and you can avoid years of strife. I’ve had people tell me they’ve tried for years and didn’t achieve success before finding that one mentor who would spend the time to teach them the right way to market. My internet business also failed prior to networking with the right people. But once you make that connection, you will be off to the races! Take these suggestions to heart, and your internet business will prosper far sooner than later.

My Internet Business Guide to the First Sale
Once you’ve decided upon what internet business to get involved with, your natural next thought is how to acquire that very first sale. In simplest terms, you must learn to avoid analysis paralysis, and begin to take action, and sales will follow. Assuming you’ve spent some time learning proper internet marketing strategies, it is now a matter of putting your lessons into practice, and doing so consistently.
The main issue I have seen with students who seem to get started slowly is the fact that either they spend too much time researching different methods before they take that first step, or they didn’t learn the right marketing techniques in the past, and still continue to do what they were comfortable with, even though it didn’t work before.
Now the story of my first sale online went as followed:

Web 2.0 for Internet Business
Web 2.0 is a common term bandied about these days that refers to a new way of creating websites, content, and business on the Internet. The exact meaning of the term is often debated hotly among Internet gurus, but essentially, it refers to the online trend toward websites that use social networking, wikis, and blogs to connect with the wider community online.
Tags are an important part of “web 2.0,” as this is how knowledge and information is linked together and organized. Many experts believe that this type of online connectivity has been around since the beginning of the Internet - after all, what is the Internet but a vast array of interconnected computers all sharing information? The term, however, is usually brought up in conversation as a way to speak about where the Internet seems to be heading in the future.
You can see examples of web 2.0 all over the Internet. YouTube is a good example. People post videos on YouTube, place tags on each post relating to the content of the video, and share the video with countless other people online. Users can subscribe to this person’s “channel,” get placed on their friends’ list, have a conversation about the subject with other users and the original poster, and share their own videos with world. The videos created can be shared and posted on other sites as well.
Blogs follow a similar format, with continuous posts that readers can comment on if they have something to contribute to the conversation.
Social networking sites, such as Facebook, are based on the premise of connecting with other people who are related to you in some way. Once you’re connected, it’s easy to share information freely with other people in your network.
Other examples of web 2.0 include Digg (a news sharing site), MySpace, Squidoo, Gather, and Technorati.
There are many others that already exist and many more to come. So how does all this relate to Internet business? Simply, online business is moving towards web 2.0 strategies as far as online marketing goes. It’s important that companies keep up with the trends and stay ahead of the game, or they may fall off the radar screen as everyone else pushes forward.
If you’ve ever heard of the term “viral,” you already know where web 2.0 is headed. The viral nature of marketing is what will carry businesses as web 2.0 becomes more prominent and complex. Word of mouth and reputation are already becoming more important, so it pays to get the right information about your company out into the public sphere if you want to gain new customers and keep current ones loyal.
Internet marketers can harness this new way of spreading information in positive ways – it’s a very powerful Internet marketing tool that hasn’t yet reached its full potential. Web 2.0 is fast becoming the best and most effective way to drive traffic to your site and increase search engine rankings. My Internet Business is benefiting from it daily, and yours will too.
